    Introduced in late 2022, this visa is for remote workers employed by non-Portuguese companies or self-employed professionals.

    Who Can Apply?

    • Employees working remotely for a foreign employer.
    • Freelancers with international clients.
    • Remote entrepreneurs.

    Main Requirements:

    • Proof of employment or freelance contracts.
    • Minimum monthly income of €3,280 (4x the Portuguese minimum wage in 2024).
    • NIF and Portuguese bank account.
    • Proof of accommodation.
    • Health insurance.

    Benefits:

    • Stay in Portugal while working remotely.

    Family reunification is allowed.
